Pocket Heroes - Bosses

1. MOROCYCLOP

Positioning - tanking hero infront of the boss, other melee behind him. Ranged heroes stay away from him. All the time he is autoattacking tank, sometimes will attack with melee short radius aoe - heroes behind him are safe. Later he will summon 2 goblins - one ranged, one melee. Just kill them with dps heroes.

2. SANDWORM

Positioning - just keep heroes spread out. Sandworm has ranged autoattacks and will focus tank. 

When he loses 25% HP, he will start to bury himself. Then he will do 3 attacks from underground (3 different targets) - just move heroes out of the black circles.

When he loses 50% HP, he will summon 2 quicksand, which will pull your heroes - simply move ranged heroes out. Pay attention because he will bury himself again.

3. ORC PRINCE

 

Positioning - tanking hero infront of the boss, other melee behind him. Ranged heroes stay away from him. He has melee autoattacks. From time to time boss will summon totems - focus them with your dps heroes.

When he loses around 70% HP, he will summon berserker totem, very powerful - it increases boss and totem attack speed. Destroy it instantly with your dps heroes. While this totem is active dont tank the boss, just move over stage, because healer won't be able to heal that amount of damage. 

4. PLANT

Positioning - just keep heroes spread out. Plant has ranged autoattacks and will focus tank, mainly. 

Occasionally 3 branches will strike 3 random heroes, usually just use aoe heal.

When plant loses around 50% HP, it will lock up random hero. Prisoned hero is untargetable, can't do and take damage. Quickly destroy trap and release hero. When tank will be prisoned you have to focus trap with all your power, because boss won't attack trapped hero and  you may not be able to heal damage done to dps hero.

5. DRAGON INCENDRAK

Positioning - keep team spread out if possible- easier to avoid skills. Dragon has no autoattack, but he has got some nasty skills instead.

Fight can be divided into phases - usually 4-5. Between each phase dragon will fly up and breathe fireballs at location indicated by the shadow. Additionally he will summon fire golems. When you kill golems, dragon will land dealing massive damage to all heroes - you will to use aoe heal.

Order of skills:

phase I: eruption, devouring, napalm, summoning 2 fire golems

phase II: eruption, devouring, napalm, summoning 3 fire golems

phase III: napalm and devouring at once - pay attention to melee heroes, then eruption and summoning 4 fire golems

phase IV: devouring, napalm, eruption, summoning 4 fire golems

phase V: same as phase III

Skills description:

Eruption - there will appear a fire circle below the feet of random ranged hero. Quickly move him away, before it explodes.

Napalm - fireballs will fall from the sky and set half stage on fire. Move ranged vulnerable heroes from burning place.

Devouring - dragon will raise his head up, after short delay will devour hero near him. This time move melee heroes away from him.

6. SIR BEDEVERE

Positioning - tanking hero infront of the boss, other melee behind him. Ranged heroes stay away from him and spread out. He has melee autoattack.

Sometimes boss will knock back and stun tanking hero for 2s. Then he will rush to random hero (may be tank again), jump and do aoe attack. That attack knocks down for 2s. After that Bedevere will summon 2 melee knights and 1 witch - kill them with dps heroes. If your tanking hero has low hp move somewhere for 2-3 seconds and let priestess heal him.

When boss loses 50% HP he will occasionaly shout. It will do medium damage to all heroes and reduce their armor.

7. DAKARAI

Positioning - tanking hero infront of the boss, other melee behind him. Ranged heroes stay away from him and spread out. Basically he is just strengtened version of Orc Prince.
Additionally sometimes he will use jump on tanking hero, knocking him down for 2s.
Sometimes he will shout. It's powerful skill that will fear your heroes for 2-3.
If you have trouble with defeating boss, you may want to equip armors with fear resist.

8. MAURAX & PHENEX

Maurax is weaker one. He has melee autoattack and mainly he just do it. Sometimes he will use skill, which knocks all heroes down, but doesnt hurt.

His most dangerous skill is thunderstorm, it will do massive damage to anyone in a row in front of him - usually only tank survives this.

Occasionally he will summon minions, alternately with Phenex. They are weak, if you can, kill them with aoe to save time.

Phenex has ranged autoattack and he is main boss here. Skills: 

hand of blood - single target spell, huge damage, if it KO someone instantly, you can't kill him yet, heroes must survive this spell,

thunderstorm - same as Maurax,

ball of darkness - there will appear dark ball somewhere on stage, after few seconds phenex will kill everybody - so quickly destroy the ball.

magic shield - for 5s Phenex will shield himself, receiving less damage and hurting anybody, who attacks him. Just don't attack him.

Suggested tactic and positioning:

• Never put your vulnerable heroes behind or in front of bosses! Only tank can stay there. 
• Turn off your autocasting for everyone, but healer. 
• Save aoe spells to quickly clean summoned minions.
• Take armors with knock down resistance.
• Focus on Phenex first, take his HP down to 30-35%, then do the same to Maurax. Next, go back to Phenex and left him 10-15% HP, then again do the same to Maurax. Finally, kill both.
• After you kill one of them, you will have around 10s, maybe less, to kill second. In other case they will revive each other.
• When Phenex pops up shield, just attack Muarax.
• As always try to keep agro on tanking hero. You can keep Maurax agro on mobile hero and just run away from him, mage's teleport is supereffective.
• If one of your DPS dies accidentally, keep doing your job, don't restart.
